I just got a free Wacom Tablet today. ridiculous!

i finally got my Mac yesterday from my dad, and he suggested i go down to the elected mayor's campaign office today. so i woke up and i went there to volunteer earlier today.

although there was some mixup and i didnt end up doing any work there, i got to talking to people. ther was someone who was having trouble with photoshop so i helped her out a little bt. she asked me to demonstrate my technique to freehand draw on the computer, and some random guy who worked in the office was impressed, so he offered me a spare tablet he had at his house. he and my father picked it up and what do you know...

i just got a BRAND FREAKIN NEW " Wacom Intuos3 : 6x11 Graphics Tablet. never been opened, all because some guy thought i had potential. im so happy. now i can practice and start a whole new style for myself. all for volunteering at my local office..


so kids, volunteer and get into politics. it helps... =) connections are everything
